Can HyperDM automate TikTok comments?+
Comment-to-DM, no — HyperDM doesn’t offer it on TikTok, and won’t sell it to you as “coming soon”. TikTok does run a version of its own, but only for Business Accounts registered in Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand, and only for comments TikTok itself picks as high-intent — and HyperDM doesn’t do it there. TikTok separately lets an approved app reply to comments publicly on its own videos through a gated API — if we ever ship that, we’ll sell it as public replies, never as comment-to-DM. What HyperDM will run on TikTok is the inbox: inbound DMs, keyword triggers on those DMs, and a reply you type yourself inside their window. Comment-to-DM is live today on Instagram, where the API genuinely supports it.
What will HyperDM actually do on TikTok?+
Answer the messages that land in your inbox. TikTok is disabled for general use. Provider approval, account eligibility and regional access are only part of the requirements: HyperDM's integration validation and release gates must also pass. No launch date is promised. You can start free on Instagram.
Can HyperDM answer TikTok Shop messages?+
No. Shop buyer chat is a separate TikTok partner program with its own seller onboarding and its own authorization, and HyperDM is not in it — connecting TikTok here is Business Messaging, which TikTok states does not manage Shop messages. We won’t list it as “coming soon” while that is someone else’s programme to admit us to. What HyperDM answers on TikTok is the DM inbox.
Can I run a TikTok ad into a HyperDM conversation today?+
Yes, and it needs nothing from us. TikTok’s Instant Messaging Ads deep-link a tapper into a messaging app you already run — including your Instagram, where HyperDM is live now. Set the campaign up in TikTok Ads Manager and the conversation arrives in HyperDM like any other Instagram DM. The one thing it won’t carry is TikTok-side attribution, so we won’t claim it does.
Will HyperDM DM my new TikTok followers?+
HyperDM does not currently offer automated new-follower greetings on TikTok. TikTok documents an official new-follower greeting API for eligible accounts, subject to account capabilities, app permissions, authorization, and message approval. Provider access does not enable this feature in HyperDM.
Is there a free plan for TikTok?+
TikTok is disabled for general use, with no promised launch date or final launch offer. The current free plan includes 50 conversations per month on Instagram. Check the pricing and availability pages before choosing a channel.
Is HyperDM within TikTok’s rules?+
The intended integration uses official messaging APIs and checks reply windows. It is disabled for general use. Provider approval and application checks cannot guarantee delivery or protection from account restrictions; platform requirements still apply.
